I forgot to type in blogspot, and this came up...

I think I know when I'm beaten. With "internationally renowned" artist Cojo as my competition I'm pretty tempted to give up this drawing a day "rendered thought experiment". Though I guess I could just put up some pictures of myself wearing a silly hat instead.
I'd highly recommend reading the "press kit" as well.

One day Jimmy
It's that time of year, when I dust off the old comic, look at it, try and figure out a way to actually do it that wouldn't take a year of 8 hour days, and then put it away for another year again. This is my latest attempt at a simplified style for Jimmy. One day Damien, I promise.

The Boy Who Lost His Name
The boy looked up and was much alarmed to see his Mother’s ears were twitching wildly and had, indeed, turned the colour of a newly painted fire engine. She bent down until her face was so close the boy could smell that she’d had prawns or possibly smoked salmon for lunch. Then she opened her mouth as wide as it could possibly go and bellowed.
“DO WHAT EXACTLY, YOU SILLY, SILLY LITTLE BOY?”
“I lost my name”, whispered the boy and flinched, expecting at any second, to be clipped round the top of his head.

Drawing at the Drawing Room
"You oughta pull them suspenders tighter"
"Oh they're just about as tight as they'll go"
"I reckon you could cinch them up a bit more"
"Sure you do....so they do something like this, huh?"

The Brown Bomber
This is the punch that took Max Schmeling down for good. I watched a documentary on Joe Louis the other night and drew this from that. Damn he could box!

I'm still here
I just got slammed at work. Here's a couple of sights I saw this weekend on one block of Chevy Chase.
